Helen Boomsma

Helen Boomsma is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership and development, currently serving as the Executive Director of Schlitz Audubon Nature Center since May 2017 and as Vice President of Development and Community Relations at the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee since September 2014. Previously, Helen held significant positions at Marquette University, including Senior Director of Development and Provost Liaison, as well as Director of Workforce Training and Development. Additionally, Helen served as Director of the Lifelong Learning Institute at Milwaukee School of Engineering. Helen holds a degree in English from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a degree in Education with a focus on Higher Education from Alverno College.
