Ueli Hodel

Ueli Hodel has a diverse work experience in the field of architecture and project management. Ueli started their career as a Lernender Hochbauzeichner at Guido Oberholzer Architekten AG from 1993 to 1997. Ueli then worked as an Architekt at various firms including Peter Erni Architekt HTL, Architekturbüro Adalbert Koch, and Grütter Architektur AG.

In 2009, they joined Schmid Generalunternehmung AG as a Planungsleiter and later became a Projekt- & Planungsleiter, and eventually a Projektleiter (Senior Project Manager) from 2016 to 2019. Ueli was responsible for leading project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

From 2014 to 2016, Ueli worked as a Projekt- & Planungsleiter at Schmid Generalunternehmung AG. Ueli then became a Bereichsleiter Planung & Head of BIM und Change-Management at the Architektur & Baumanagement AG from 2019 to 2021.

Most recently, they have been working at SCHMID GRUPPE as an Abteilungsleiter Architektur & Head of VDC/BIM since 2022. Ueli is involved in developing and planning projects, assisting homebuyers in realizing their ideas, and offering comprehensive solutions.

In addition to their current role, Ueli also serves as a Gast-Dozent im Nebenamt - Weiterbildung CAS Projektmanagement Bau at HSLU Hochschule Luzern starting from 2023.

Ueli Hodel's education history includes a range of degrees and certifications in various fields. In 2017, they completed a Masterthesis in Baumanagement at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Prior to that, in 2016, they obtained a CAS degree in Strategischen Projektmanagement Bau 2 from the same institution. In 2015, Ueli Hodel completed a CAS degree in Strategischen Projektmanagement Bau 1. Ueli also holds CAS degrees in Kommunikation & Führung im Bauwesen (2014-2015) and Projektmanagement Bau (2014-2015). In terms of their earlier education, Ueli Hodel obtained a diploma in Architektur from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, which they pursued from 1997 to 2000. Before that, from 1993 to 1997, they attended Berufmaturitätsschule Luzern, where they obtained a Technische Berufsmatura. Ueli also completed a Hochbauzeichner mit eidg. Fähigkeitszeugnis from Berufsschule Luzern during the same period.
