James Lu

James Lu serves as Principal and Regional Director for Perkins+Will, overseeing operations in Asia since June 2013. Concurrently, James holds the position of Managing Director for China at Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects, contributing to the integrated practice of both firms since February 2018. Prior experience includes serving as Regional Director of Urban Design in Architecture at Aecom from 2010 to March 2013 and as Urban Design Director at Edaw from 2004 to 2010, along with a role as Senior Designer at HLW International LLP from 2002 to 2004. Educational credentials include a Master in Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor in Architecture from the University of Toronto.
