Andreas Schmitz

Andreas Schmitz has extensive experience in the transportation and consulting industries, currently serving as CEO and Chairman of the Board at Schmitz Cargobull AG since 2008, where involvement includes a joint venture with Dongfeng Motor Vehicles. Schmitz also holds the position of Speaker of the Family Council and is a member of the Board at the same company. Prior roles include Managing Director of Schmitz Cargobull UK Ltd, General Manager of the Curtainsider Business Unit at Schmitz Cargobull AG, and Managing Director of Schmitz Cargobull Iberica. Schmitz began a career at The Boston Consulting Group as a Project Leader and worked as Sales Manager for Linden Comansa in Germany. Educational accomplishments include an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, a Master of Engineering Management from the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Business Economics from Brown University.
