Dejan Jakovljevic

Dejan Jakovljevic has a diverse work experience in the field of project management and power engineering. Dejan began their career as a Junior Power Engineer at Siemens Digital Industries Software, where they developed and tested power system applications for transmission and distribution networks. Dejan then worked as a Power Engineer at Telvent before joining Schneider Electric Hub.

At Schneider Electric Hub, Dejan started as a Power System Engineer, specializing in advanced distribution management systems. Dejan was responsible for distribution and transmission management, outage management, and switching management applications. Dejan then progressed to the role of Project Manager, where they successfully managed ADMS projects and performed various project management tasks such as cost planning, risk management, and change management. Dejan further advanced to become a Senior Team Lead in the Project Management Department, overseeing a team of project managers.

Currently, Dejan holds the position of Department Manager in the Project Management Office at Schneider Electric Hub. In this role, they are responsible for managing a department of 30 people and overseeing more than 45 ADMS digital grid projects worldwide. Dejan is accountable for European projects and also responsible for project delivery in various regions including North America, the Pacific, East Asia, Japan, Middle East Asia, Latin America, and Iberia. Dejan's work experience showcases their expertise in project management, power engineering, and leadership skills.

Dejan Jakovljevic completed their M.Sc. degree in Power Engineering from the University of Belgrade, where they studied at the School of Electrical Engineering from 2004 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Dejan also obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include a mini-MBA course from CANSEE Canadian Serbian Business Association, a Public Speaking and Diction course from Centar za javni govor, a Professional Services Consulting Certificate (PSCC-1) from PS Principles, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Dejan also obtained an IELTS - General Training certification from the British Council. Lastly, Dejan completed a course titled "Building Great Leaders - Serbia 1 B" from FranklinCovey, although the specific dates of completion for this course are not provided.
