Mark Timperley

Mark Timperley is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering and automation. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Architect at Schneider Electric since January 2014, Mark focuses on runtime development for EcoStruxure Automation Expert across multiple platforms, including VxWorks and Linux. Prior to this role, Mark held positions as a Senior Principal Software Engineer and Principal Software Engineer, where responsibilities included enhancing legacy software and developing embedded applications for various systems. As an owner of Timperley Automation Systems, Inc. since 1998, Mark provides custom software solutions for task automation. Mark's earlier experience includes consulting roles for ABB, Aquidneck Systems, and Oxford Global Resources, contributing to significant projects within the automation sector. Mark holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering with an Electrical Engineering minor from the University of Rhode Island.
