Michelle Lim is an associate attorney at Schneider Wallace Cottrell Konecky LLP and her practice focuses on employment and civil rights individual and class action cases.
Michelle is admitted to practice law in the state of California and the United States District Court of the Northern, Southern, Central, and Eastern Districts of California.
Michelle graduated with presidential distinction for pro bono service from The George Washington University Law School. During law school, Michelle served as an associate on The George Washington University Law Review and successfully represented low-income clients in criminal misdemeanor cases as a student attorney with D.C. Law Students in Court. Michelle also received Best Memorandum and finished as a semi-finalist at the Pamela Spanogle Commercial Arbitration competition and represented her law school at the 21st Annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot competition in Hong Kong.
Michelle worked throughout her law school career, including as a judicial intern for the Honorable Patricia B. Broderick of the District of Columbia Superior Court, as a law clerk for The Public Defender Service, as a law clerk for the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and as a research assistant to Professor Roger G. Fairfax. During her free time, Michelle also served as president of the District Record Sealing Service at the Public Defender Service to help low-income candidates navigate D.C. expungement laws.
Michelle received her Bachelor of Arts in English with Highest Honors for her thesis from the University of California, Los Angeles. Prior to joining Schneider Wallace Cottrell Konecky LLP, Michelle worked as a law clerk at CNP Law Firm based in Los Angeles and volunteered at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles.
