Jeffrey A. Wlahofsky

Jeff began his public accounting career in 1983. He joined the firm in 1986 and is a tax shareholder in the assurance and tax advisors department. He has in-depth experience in the areas of tax planning and compliance for closely held businesses.

The services Jeff provides to the firm’s clients include serving as an expert witness in legal proceedings; managing IRS examinations; assisting family-owned companies in restructuring to meet succession-planning requirements; and representing companies before the Pennsylvania and Ohio Boards of Appeals and Boards of Finance and Review.

Jeff is also responsible for directing the firm’s state and local tax (SALT) practice. Jeff’s areas of concentration include sales and use tax, capital stock and corporate net income planning, along with fuel tax reporting and examinations.

Jeff serves clients in a number of diversified industries, including natural resources, transportation, manufacturing and professional services.
