Currently serving as the Director of Patient Services at Schofield Care since March 2018, Melinda has previously held key positions including RN ALP Director at Glenwell Assisted Living, RN Clinical Manager at Amedisys Home Health & Hospice, and RN Staff Development Coordinator at WILLCARE. Melinda's career also includes significant roles at Weinberg Campus and Univera Healthcare, focusing on the management and direction of home care services and nursing programs. Melinda holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Daemen University and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Nursing from Saddleback College.

The Schofield Residence offers 24-hour skilled nursing care for chronically ill or disabled people who cannot be cared for at home. Some individuals come for a short-term rehabilitation stay and return to their home. Others make Schofield their new home. Schofield's Adult Day Health Care Program provides a middle road between living independently and living in a nursing facility. Located at 190 Fulton Street in Buffalo, NY, the award-winning program provides health services for people living in the community aimed at maintaining or improving their everyday functioning. The Adult Day Health Care Program is the largest in upstate NY and the only local program open 6 days a week and two sessions a day. Able to serve all home health needs, Schofield's experienced Home Health Care teams are dedicated to providing high quality, cost effective home care services. We offer certified home health care as well as licensed home care in Erie and Niagara counties of NY. Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition to Nursing, PT, OT, Speech Therapy, Social Work, Home Health Aides, Nutritional Counseling and Respiratory Therapy, Schofield offers Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Waiver Services. Our licensed home care agency,Schofield Home Health Care Services, Inc. provides RN's, home health aides, personal care aides and housekeepers to assist our patients with personal care, laundry, meal preparation and light housekeeping. Schofield's home health care services are 24 hours daily, seven days a week, for people of all ages. SHHCS also offers Home and Community Support Services Aides for Traumatic Brain Injury patients.
