Andrew Giansiracusa

Andrew Giansiracusa has a range of work experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. Andrew is currently working at Scholar Rock as a Senior Manager in GMP QA. Prior to this, they were a Quality Assurance Manager at Finch Therapeutics Group from April 2020 to March 2022. Before Finch, they worked as a Senior QA Specialist at Wave Life Sciences from June 2019 to April 2020. Andrew also gained experience at Ipsen, where they held the roles of QA Specialist II from April 2018 to June 2019 and QA Specialist I from April 2017 to April 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked at Merrimack in various roles, including QA Compliance Specialist from July 2015 to April 2017, QC Analyst from October 2013 to July 2015, and Senior Research Associate from September 2008 to October 2013. Andrew's experience also includes a brief role as a Production Scientist at Agencourt Bioscience in 2008. Prior to entering the biotech industry, Andrew worked as a High School Science Teacher at the Town of Wilmington, where they taught biology courses.

Andrew Giansiracusa received their Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Salem State University, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended Saugus High School from 1997 to 2001, also focusing on Biology/Biological Sciences. In addition to their formal education, Andrew has obtained certifications in Investigative Writing and Technical Writing from PathWise in September 2014, as well as an Endotoxin Testing Workshop - Kinetic Turbidimetric certification from Associates of Cape Cod in October 2013.
