Ana Andres is an experienced educator with a background in teaching various grade levels, currently serving as a 5th Grade Teacher at Scholarship Prep Public Schools since August 2020. Prior roles at Scholarship Prep included teaching 7th and 8th grade science and 6th grade. Ana also taught 6th grade at Valiente College Preparatory and began a career in education with Teach For America as a 6th grade teacher. Ana holds a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Arizona State University and a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Denison University. Additionally, a semester abroad focused on Spanish and Iberian Studies was completed at Fundacion Ortega y Gasset. Educational foundation includes a high school diploma from Santa Ana High School.

Founded in 2016, SP is committed to creating community change by operating university-inspired, trauma-informed public schools for all students, especially those experiencing homelessness or those in the foster care system.
