Emma Carlson Berne, also known as Bernay, is an accomplished children's book author and writer with extensive experience in various writing genres, including graphic fiction, non-fiction, and novel adaptations. Current roles include authoring manga-style graphic stories for Mayo Clinic Press, writing for Nosy Crow, and contributing to National Wildlife Federation's Ranger Rick Magazine. Berne has a long-standing relationship with Scholastic, producing unauthorized biographies on notable figures such as Taylor Swift and Leo Messi, as well as middle-grade non-fiction series like "To the Rescue!
