Mike Jung is currently the Assistant Library Director for Systems and Technical Services at the California Institute of Integral Studies, a position held since June 2024. In addition, Mike serves as a judge for the National Book Award in Young People's Literature for the National Book Foundation and is a contributing author in the anthology "YOU ARE HERE: CONNECTING FLIGHTS" with HarperCollins Publishers. Mike's authorship also includes the novel "THE BOYS IN THE BACK ROW," published by Levine Querido, and "GEEKS, GIRLS, AND SECRET IDENTITIES," released by Arthur A. Levine Books/Scholastic. Prior professional experience includes roles such as Cataloging & Acquisitions Librarian and Electronic Resources Manager at Saint Mary's College of California, Communications Coordinator for the West Contra Costa Unified School District, and several graphic design and editorial positions in various organizations. Mike holds a Master of Library & Information Science from San José State University and has bachelor's degrees in Fine and Studio Arts from UC Irvine.
