Julian Nehlich

Julian Nehlich is an Optical Engineer at SCHÖLLY FIBEROPTIC GMBH since February 2019, bringing expertise in advanced optical systems. Previously, Julian worked as a Studentische Hilfskraft at IMTEK, University of Freiburg from October 2014 to December 2018, where responsibilities included the design and optimization of a hybrid refractive-diffractive liquid-tunable lens and conducting a bachelor's thesis on the characterization of hybrid polymer waveguides for optogenetic applications. Julian holds a Master of Science in Mikrosystemtechnik from The University of Freiburg, completed in December 2018, and a Bachelor of Science in the same field, earned in 2015.
