Paul Lei

Paul (Zhengxia) Lei has extensive experience in the finance industry, with a focus on equity research and portfolio management. Paul (Zhengxia) started their career as a Sell-Side Equity Research Analyst at Sinolink Securities, specializing in the Consumer/Retail sector. Paul (Zhengxia) then transitioned to Bosheng Capital Management (HK) Limited, where they held various roles including Portfolio Manager and Head of Research, demonstrating their expertise in fundamental research, idea generation, and team management. Lei also worked at Zendesk as a Senior Financial Analyst before joining APS Asset Management as a Portfolio Manager. Currently, they are serving as a Senior Analyst and Vice President at Schonfeld, showcasing their leadership and analytical skills in the field. Throughout their career, Lei has consistently delivered successful investment recommendations, generated effective long/short strategies, and demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling and research analysis.

Paul (Zhengxia) Lei completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Bioinformatics at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2008. Paul (Zhengxia) then pursued a Master of Science in Applied Economics at City University of Hong Kong from 2008 to 2009. Later, they achieved a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Finance and Strategy from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, they received certifications such as CFA Level II, Type 9 License in Asset Management, and completion of various papers from the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute.
