Ziad Afra

Ziad Afra is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in infrastructure and technology operations within the financial services sector. Currently serving as Head of Core Infrastructure & Technology Operations at Schonfeld since June 2022, Ziad has held significant roles at BNP Paribas CIB as Chief Technology Officer and Information Technology Infrastructure Manager, and at Citadel as Engineering Manager. Ziad's career spans various prestigious organizations, including BNY Mellon, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, and Merrill Lynch, where expertise in low latency infrastructure, IT operational analytics, and strategic IT transformation has been demonstrated. Ziad holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Information Systems Design from Kingston University.
