Jamie Edwards

Jamie Edwards is a dedicated music educator with experience spanning multiple teaching roles. Currently a Music Teacher and Band Director at the School City of Hobart since July 2021, Jamie teaches general music to K-5 students and directs the 6th and 7th-grade band. Prior experience includes a position as a General Music Teacher at Sullivan Elementary School, where approximately 700 students were taught, and three annual programs were designed and directed. In earlier roles, Jamie served as a Student Teacher at Bloomington High School North, instructing various band classes and jazz ensembles, and as a Marching Band Instructor, focusing on woodwind sectionals. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from DePauw University, achieved in 2019.
