Chris Heath

Chris Heath currently serves as the Assistant Principal at School District 45, having assumed the position in July 2023. Previously, Chris held various roles including Assistant Principal and Interim Principal at East Aurora School District 131 from August 2007 to July 2023. During this tenure, Chris oversaw the core STEM curriculum and facilitated the development of standards-based curriculum for K-12 science and social studies while collaborating with institutions such as Northwestern and NIU. Chris has extensive teaching experience, including a focus on accelerated and at-risk students, and has implemented various educational initiatives, such as the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program and PBIS. Chris holds two Master’s Degrees in Educational Leadership and Educational/Instructional Technology from Northern Illinois University, alongside a Bachelor’s Degree in History.
