Chris Kerr

Chris Kerr is the Director of Operations at School District 8 Kootenay Lake. Chris has over 15 years of experience in the field of maintenance and operations. Chris began their career with the Calgary Board of Education in 2006 as a Maintenance Supervisor. In this role, Chris was responsible for the maintenance of 43 schools in Northeast Calgary. Chris was also a member of the development team that implemented the Archibus CMMS for all maintenance and projects. In 2016, Chris joined Magna IV Engineering as a Sr Field Service Tech. Chris was with Magna IV Engineering for 5 years before joining School District 8 Kootenay Lake as the Director of Operations.

Chris Kerr's educational career includes completing a Red/Blue Seal Journeyman Electrician program and an Applied Management Certificate of Achievement at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). Chris also has a High School diploma from St Francis High School. Chris is currently working towards a BOMI certification in FMA - Facilities Management Administrator.

Russell Warwick - Manager of Operations - Health and Safety, Lisa Phillips - Manager of Operations - Transportation report to Chris Kerr. They are on a team with Nick Howald - Director of Information Technology, Shauna Martens - Manager of Payroll and Benefits, and Ruth Krulitsky - Executive Assistant to the Superintendent of Schools and Secretary-Treasurer. Chris Kerr reports to Michael McLellan, Secretary-Treasurer / CFO.
