Jodie Shirley

Jodie Shirley is an experienced education specialist currently working with the School District of Oconee County since August 1997, where responsibilities include planning and implementing K-12 STEM trainings, supporting teachers in STEM project development, and facilitating growth in math and science. Previous roles include Math and Science Instructional Specialist, leading professional development in instructional strategies and assessment, and Elementary Math and Science Specialist, focusing on curriculum implementation. In addition, Jodie served as the School Principal at Ravenel Elementary School starting June 2023 and was the Assistant Principal at Midway Elementary School from May 2018 to June 2023. Jodie holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Clemson University and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Sociology from Western Carolina University.
