Betty Bagley has extensive experience in educational leadership and academia, currently serving as a Visiting Lecturer and Graduate Research Assistant at Clemson University since January 2019. Betty has been a member of the Pickens County School District Board since November 2016 and held the position of Interim Superintendent at McCormick County School District from May 2018 to June 2021. Previous roles include Adjunct Faculty Member at Furman University (March 2018 - September 2023), Field Director for the TransformSC Innovation Initiative (February 2014 - May 2018), and Superintendent positions at both Anderson School District 5 (July 2000 - June 2013) and Bamberg School District One (July 1993 - June 2000).
