Andrew S. is currently the Head of Technology and Digital Transformation at the School for Social Entrepreneurs. Prior to this, Andrew held various roles at Tearfund, including M&E System Product owner, Grants and Information Officer, and Programme support coordinator. Andrew also has experience as a Social Impact Analyst at Five Talents UK Limited, HR Data Entry Officer at Tearfund, and an Intern at Joint Development Associates. In addition, Andrew has worked as a Barista at Starbucks, a Volunteer English Teacher at Step Ahead Thailand, and has a BA (Hons) in International Development from the University of East Anglia. Andrew also holds a Master of Science degree in Information Communication Technology for Development from The University of Manchester.

We can’t fix issues like poverty, climate change and ill-health alone. That’s why the School for Social Entrepreneurs exists. We help 1,000 people a year develop the skills, strengths and networks they need to tackle society’s biggest problems. We run courses that equip people to start, scale and strengthen organisations that make a positive difference. But we’re not a traditional school. Learning with SSE is inspiring, action-based and accessible. We support in others ways too, such as funding and mentoring. Lord Michael Young founded SSE in 1997, and we’ve grown to a network of schools across the UK, Canada and India. Together, we’re changing lives and transforming communities.
