Hannah Kissig

Hannah Kissig is a dedicated Language Arts Teacher at School Lane Charter School since August 2018, where responsibilities include planning and instructing student-centered, inquiry-based lessons for 9th grade English classes, utilizing the project-based International Baccalaureate grading system. Hannah has created and implemented innovative curricula for various English subjects, including Writing for STEM, Communications, Modern Literature, and Creative Writing. Prior experience includes serving as a Long Term Substitute Teacher at Bethlehem Area School District, where effective lessons were developed for diverse classrooms, and as a District Substitute Teacher at North Penn School District. Hannah has also worked as a Test Prep Teacher at Huntington Learning Center, focusing on improving student performance on ACT and SAT exams. Educational qualifications consist of a Master of Arts in Secondary Education and Teaching from DeSales University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Arcadia University.
