Kevin Runions

Kevin Runions is an experienced professional in the field of research and evaluation within mental health and education. Currently serving as a Research & Evaluation Consultant at School Mental Health Ontario since October 2022, Kevin previously held the position of Area Lead, Research, Evaluation & Monitoring at Telethon Kids Institute from June 2021 to December 2022, and led the School & Community Wellbeing research team there. Kevin's earlier roles include Research Coordinator at Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services in Western Australia and Senior Research Fellow at Telethon Kids Institute. An academic background includes an Assistant Professor position at the University of Victoria, where research focused on cyberbullying and school-based interventions in child socio-emotional learning. Kevin's educational qualifications span multiple degrees from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto, culminating in two PhDs, alongside a Bachelor of Education from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology from Trent University.
