Laura Bullene Jacobo, SNS, is an accomplished professional in the field of nutrition and culinary arts, currently serving as a LEAD to Succeed Trainer at the School Nutrition Association since April 2022, where training programs are developed in collaboration with various organizations. Additionally, Laura operates as a K12 Chef and Trainer/Consultant at Chef Laura K12 Culinary and Consulting since January 2022. With nearly three decades of experience in education, Laura spent 29 years as a Culinary Arts, Nutrition, and Baking Instructor at the College of the Sequoias until August 2023. From October 1998 to July 2021, Laura was the Director of Nutrition Services at Woodlake Unified School District, where responsibilities included developing and managing a comprehensive Nutrition Services program, enhancing student participation, overseeing procurement, maintaining food safety standards, and implementing innovative programs such as Breakfast in the Classroom and the Seamless Summer initiative.
