Andrew Palacios

Andrew Palacios is an experienced medical professional currently serving as an Adjunct Lab Instructor at the School of EMS since January 2021, specializing in hands-on training for Emergency Medical Technician and Paramedic students. Additionally, Andrew works as a Peer Tutor for first-year Physician Assistant students at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, focusing on EKG and Clinical Medicine. Previous roles include Flight Paramedic with UT Health East Texas from July 2015 to July 2021, and a Critical Care Paramedic at Palestine EMS from December 2014 to September 2018. Andrew also has flight experience from Flight for Life at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital and served as a Paramedic at Champion EMS. Academically, Andrew is pursuing a Master of Physician Assistant Studies at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, having previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from LeTourneau University, a vocational certification in Emergency Medical Technology from the International ALERT Academy, and a Bachelor of Arts in General Christian Studies from Hobe Sound Bible College.
