Melody S. is an experienced educator and motion graphics designer with a diverse professional background in animation and design. Currently serving as Adjunct Faculty at the School of Visual Arts since September 2020, Melody teaches animation courses within the BFA Animation Department. Previous roles include Senior Motion Designer at Fable and Freelance Designer/Animator at Imaginary Forces, where Melody created an animated short series for Google. Melody's notable experience at CNN as a Motion Graphics Designer includes leading projects that earned a Webby Award in 2020 and an Emmy nomination in 2018. Additional freelance work for companies such as TikTok, Spotify, and Meural complements a solid foundation in graphic design established during early roles at Carol Textile Co., Ltd. Melody holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Art from the School of Visual Arts and a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication Design from Kun Shan University.
