Soumya Bhat serves as Principal Associate at School Readiness Consulting since September 2021, following a tenure as Director of Early Childhood Equity Initiatives at The Policy Equity Group. Prior experience includes roles as Education Finance and Policy Analyst at DC Fiscal Policy Institute, Senior Program Associate at The Finance Project, and Research Associate at the New America Foundation. Soumya began a career with AmeriCorps *VISTA at Asian Family Support Services of Austin. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Affairs from The LBJ School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Birmingham-Southern College.
