Joseph Wilson

Joseph Wilson serves as the Business Development Manager for the Safety and Security Division at School Specialty, Inc. since July 2018, focusing on the safety needs of K-12 schools. As the owner of TacSeC - Tactical and Security Consultation Services, LLC, since 2012, Joseph provides tactical consultation and security operations for various entities, leveraging extensive experience from the Pennsylvania State Police. Joseph held the role of Deputy Chief of Police at Upper Macungie Township Police Department from 2012 to 2018, overseeing department operations and training. Prior to that, Joseph was a Lieutenant with the Pennsylvania State Police for 24 years, commanding the Special Emergency Response Team and developing tactical operations. Joseph's military experience includes service in the US Army from 1982 to 1985. Joseph holds a Certificate in Criminal Justice from the University of Virginia and is currently attending the FBI National Academy to enhance leadership skills for law enforcement executives.
