Mary Thornton

Mary Thornton has over seven years of professional experience in various roles. Mary began their career in 2014 as a Data Analyst Intern at ArcelorMittal. Mary then worked as an Engineering Consultant Intern at West Monroe Partners and a Lean Six Sigma Project Lead at Royal Building Products an Axiall Company. In 2016, they joined Boeing as a Data Analyst Intern. In 2017, they joined IBM as a Senior Consultant and Strategy & Analytics Consultant. In 2020, they joined HighRoads as a Director of Product Management, Director of Configuration Services, and Customer Solutions Manager. Most recently, in 2022, they joined SchooLinks as a Senior Product Manager and 81cents as an Advisor.

Mary Thornton obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Industrial & Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University. In 2016, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from The Ohio State University. In 2018, they obtained a Data Analysis with Python certification from Cognitive Class and a Predictive Modeling Fundamentals certification from Cognitive Class. Mary Thornton is currently pursuing a Master of Science - MS in Data Science from DePaul University, which they began in 2020 and is expected to finish in 2023.
