Dr. Folker Steden

Dr. Folker Steden has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Dr. Folker started their career at belchem fiber material GmbH in 2005 as an R&D Manager. In 2007, they joined SCHOTT as a Sen. Technical Consultant & Process Owner for Backlighting, and later became the Director of Technical Consulting Tubing Asia. From 2012 onwards, they served as the Director of Product Management & Scientific Services, where their responsibilities included general process management, customer service, product management, and troubleshooting. In 2020, they became the Senior Principal Expert in Glass for Pharmaceutical Packaging at SCHOTT.

From 1992 to 2003, Dr. Folker Steden pursued their doctoral studies in Inorganic Chemistry at The University of Bonn. In 2001, they also pursued further research in the same field at the University of New Brunswick. Later, in 2004-2005, they conducted postdoctoral research on the Structure of Solid State Phases at Technische Universität Dresden.
