Gökhan Urgun

Gökhan Urgun has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Gökhan worked as an Operations Director at SCHOTT from 2019, where they oversaw the operations of the company. Prior to this, they served as an Operations Director at YAZAKI Turkey from 2004 to 2019. In this role, they managed plant managers at manufacturing facilities, ensuring timely and cost-effective production of customer's products while maintaining safety regulations. Gökhan also held various other roles at YAZAKI Turkey, such as Toyota & Honda Customer Segment Manager and OPEL Customer Segment Manager. Gökhan was also responsible for coordinating the transfer of OPEL business as a Business Transfer Coordinator. Before joining YAZAKI Turkey, they worked at Yazaki Europe as a GME (Global Manufacturing Engineering Coordinator) from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they worked at Ünver Group as a Moulding & Maintenance Department Leader and Quality Engineer. Overall, Gökhan Urgun has extensive experience in operations management, customer segment management, coordination, and engineering in the automotive industry.

Gökhan Urgun holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Liverpool, which they began studying for in 2023. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering at Dumlupinar University, from 1995 to 2000. Gökhan also attended Bursa Erkek Lisesi from 1989 to 1995. Gökhan has obtained several additional certifications in various subjects, including Difficult Interactions, Feedback Essentials, Team Management, Developing Employees, Strategic Thinking, Coaching, Innovation Implementation, Strategy Planning And Execution, Strategy Training, Career Management, Change Management, and the Advanced Leadership Program. Gökhan has also received certifications in Project Management from The George Washington University and various quality systems from KOSGEB.
