Gökhan Urgun holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Liverpool, which they began studying for in 2023. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering at Dumlupinar University, from 1995 to 2000. Gökhan also attended Bursa Erkek Lisesi from 1989 to 1995.
