Rene de Wilde has extensive experience in accounting and advisory roles, currently serving as a Partner at Deloitte MKB Accountancy & Advies since 2004, where complex client projects are managed to successful conclusions while fostering optimal team performance. In addition to this position, Rene has contributed significantly to various organizations, including serving as a member of the Supervisory Board at Schouwburg De Lawei since April 2019, promoting cultural engagement, and acting as an ambassador for TEDxFryslân from July 2015 to June 2019, focusing on idea sharing for behavioral change. Other notable roles include participation in Stichting Fryslân Hartveilig as a member of the Advisory Board, chairing the Platform Overleg Centrum Ondernemers Drachten to strengthen community connections, and holding governance positions with Stichting Hoofdstad van de Smaak 2015 and SC Heerenveen’s foundation. Earlier career positions include Financial Manager at Huhtamaki Paper Recycling BV and Audit Manager at E&Y, following an academic background in project organizations from NIVRA and education from Andreas College in Drachten.

Schouwburg De Lawei
De Lawei is een schouwburg met een divers cultureel aanbod. Het is het kloppend hart en dé culturele ontmoetingsplaats van Drachten en de regio. Een gastvrij huis voor de (podium)kunsten waar makers en liefhebbers elkaar treffen in de meest optimale omstandigheden. De Lawei wil de beste schouwburg in Noord Nederland zijn. Motto Onder het motto ‘altijd applaus’ wil De Lawei de komende jaren vérder werken aan haar profilering en positie als beste schouwburg van het noorden. De belangrijkste doelstelling van De Lawei is en blijft het op een zo hoog mogelijk kwaliteitsniveau aanbieden van een breed scala aan kunstuitingen - met name podiumkunsten - aan de bevolking van Smallingerland en haar omgeving.
