Sipke Hoekstra is a seasoned composer, orchestrator, and composition teacher with extensive experience in various musical domains since January 1999 at HARKARK. Proficient in writing idiomatic music that emphasizes playability and sound combinations, Sipke also engages in copywriting, musicology, and teaching. As the owner of FundScore since January 2017, Sipke provides fundraising and consulting services to multiple organizations. Additionally, Sipke serves on several boards, including the supervisory boards of Schouwburg De Lawei and Stichting Simmerdeis, and holds a general member position on the Frisian Heraldry Council. With educational credentials from institutions like Utrecht University and Berklee College of Music, Sipke continues to contribute to the arts through tutoring and advisory roles in musicology and concert series.

Schouwburg De Lawei
De Lawei is een schouwburg met een divers cultureel aanbod. Het is het kloppend hart en dé culturele ontmoetingsplaats van Drachten en de regio. Een gastvrij huis voor de (podium)kunsten waar makers en liefhebbers elkaar treffen in de meest optimale omstandigheden. De Lawei wil de beste schouwburg in Noord Nederland zijn. Motto Onder het motto ‘altijd applaus’ wil De Lawei de komende jaren vérder werken aan haar profilering en positie als beste schouwburg van het noorden. De belangrijkste doelstelling van De Lawei is en blijft het op een zo hoog mogelijk kwaliteitsniveau aanbieden van een breed scala aan kunstuitingen - met name podiumkunsten - aan de bevolking van Smallingerland en haar omgeving.
