Christopher Austin

Christopher Austin is an accomplished tax professional currently serving as the Head of Tax at Schroders Capital since November 2023. Austin has held various roles within the Schroders organization, including Co-Head of Tax and Tax Director, contributing significantly to the development of tax strategies for private assets. In addition to this, Austin has been involved with AREF since January 2017, taking on leadership roles as Chair of the Tax Committee and as a member. Austin's career began at Deloitte, where tenures as a Tax Senior Manager were conducted from September 1997 to March 2006. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, alongside early schooling at The Leys School and Kings College Choir School in Cambridge.
