Amara G. is an experienced professional in sustainability and responsible investment, currently serving as the Sustainability Director for Private Equity at Schroders since November 2021. Prior to this role, Amara owned Blue Phoenix, where the focus was on ESG strategy and integration, and worked as an Associate Partner at Contrast Capital, a consultancy dedicated to sustainable finance. Amara's previous experience includes leading ESG product development at Apex Group Ltd, heading corporate sustainability and responsible investment at Julius Baer, and serving as Deputy Head & Senior Sustainability Operations Manager at RobecoSAM. Furthermore, Amara has a strong academic background, holding a Master’s degree in Global Business and Stakeholder Management from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, and has engaged in various roles focused on corporate social responsibility and sustainable investment throughout the career.
