Neela Metgud

Neela Metgud currently serves as the Head of Portfolio Compliance for the Americas at Schroders since February 2019. Prior to this, Neela Metgud held various roles at BlackRock from June 2004 to February 2019, including Director, Vice President, Portfolio Compliance Associate, and Portfolio Compliance Analyst. Notable achievements include leading the New York compliance team responsible for Aladdin solutions, establishing a global portfolio compliance group, and facilitating the integration of BlackRock and Barclays Global Investment compliance systems. Neela Metgud began the professional career at Prudential Financial as an Associate after earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Economics from Rutgers University.
