Paddy Flood is a portfolio manager and co-head of research in global equities at Schroders, having transitioned to this role in 2025. Previously, Paddy served as an investment analyst at Aberdeen Standard Investments from 2015 to 2019, focusing on the chemical, ingredient, and HPC sectors. Paddy also gained experience as a policy advisor at HM Treasury, where they led several Further Education policy initiatives from 2013 to 2014. They began their career as a lifeguard at Sandy Balls Estate Ltd. from 2009 to 2012, following a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Bath, completed in 2015.
