Anu Nagarajan

Principal Scientist I

Anu Nagarajan is a Principal Scientist I at Schrödinger, having held this position since August 2017, after serving as a Senior Scientist. Prior to this, Anu worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health from August 2013 to May 2017, focusing on the inhibition of the serotonin transporter by Paxil and conducting homology modeling to explore the effects of amino acid mutations on drug potency. From September 2011 to June 2013, Anu was a Research Associate at the University of Maryland, where the development of a multi-resolution simulation method was achieved, alongside research into the relationship between flanking sequences in polyQ rich Huntington protein and membrane structure related to cellular aggregation and death. Anu holds a Ph.D. in Biophysics from The Johns Hopkins University, earned between 2005 and 2011.
