Da Shi is currently a Principal Scientist I at Schrödinger, having held multiple senior scientist roles since June 2021, focusing on hit discovery and applications science. Prior experience includes working as a Data Scientist at ATOM Accelerating Therapeutics for Opportunities in Medicine, where Da Shi developed machine and deep learning models for target-chemical binding predictions and integrated Bayesian optimization techniques. Additionally, Da Shi has worked as a Data Scientist at the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research and as a Graduate Research Assistant at UCSD Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science, specializing in structure-based drug discovery and bioinformatics. Da Shi began the academic journey with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Dalian University of Technology, followed by a Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry from UC San Diego.
