Kristian K Jensen

Kristian K Jensen currently serves as Senior Vice President at Schrödinger, a position held since April 2017, where previous roles included Vice President, Head of Biology, Early Stage Portfolio Lead, Executive Director, Biology, Senior Director, Biology, and Research Leader. Prior to joining Schrödinger, Kristian worked at Merck from February 2007 to December 2016 as Principal Scientist and Senior Research Biologist, focusing on diabetes, obesity, NASH, and atherosclerosis. Key achievements include leading biologist roles in drug development and target validation. Earlier experience includes serving as a Post Doctoral Fellow at Weill Cornell Medical College from November 2003 to January 2007, researching Id genes in hematopoiesis and bone homeostasis. Kristian holds a Ph.D. in Immunology from Copenhagen University, a Master of Science in Human Biology from Københavns Universitet, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from DTU - Technical University of Denmark.
