Márton Vass

Márton Vass is a highly experienced chemoinformatics and drug discovery expert currently serving as Head of the EU+ All Access AppSci Team and Principal Applications Scientist 2 at Schrödinger since November 2021. Previously, Márton held various positions at BenevolentAI from July 2018 to October 2021, including Lead Cheminformatics Data Scientist and Senior Cheminformatics Data Scientist, where responsibilities included leading structure-based drug discovery initiatives and platform development. Prior experience encompasses a postdoctoral position at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, a research scientist role at Richter Gedeon Nyrt., and short-term research at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Márton's educational background includes a Master of Science in Chemistry from Eötvös Loránd University and ongoing doctoral studies in Computer-Aided Drug Design at Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
