James Sisto (Jaime)

James "Jaime" Sisto has over 35 years of professional experience in law, business, and government. James "Jaime" is currently working as the Chief Legal Officer at Schuerger Law Group since June 2015. Prior to that, they were the Managing Member at The Sisto Company II, LLC starting from April 2013. From September 2012 to June 2015, they worked as Of Counsel at Tsibouris & Associates, LLC, a Tier 1 firm in Columbus for Information Technology Law. James "Jaime" also served as the President of Teralogix, Inc., a national consulting company, from September 2012 to April 2013. Jaime was hired as the Transition President and Agent at Estate Information Services, LLC from January 2012 to September 2012, and as the President, COO, and General Counsel at Value Recovery Group, Inc. from April 2004 to December 2011. James "Jaime" had experience as an Attorney and Of Counsel at Squire, Sanders & Dempsey, focusing on international corporate and commercial transactions, from January 2000 to December 2004. James "Jaime" served as the Department Deputy Director and International Trade Division Director at the Ohio Department of Development from December 1990 to December 1999, and as an Associate Attorney at Emens, Hurd, Kegler & Ritter from January 1989 to December 1990. James "Jaime" also worked at the Columbus Export Network/City of Columbus as a Manager, structuring and placing export finance for export transactions from 1987 to 1989.

James "Jaime" Sisto began their education with a preparatory degree at Pingry from 1969 to 1977. James "Jaime" then pursued a BA in Economics and English at Ohio Wesleyan University, graduating in 1981. Following this, from 1981 to 1984, Sisto attended Capital University Law School, where they obtained a JD degree with a focus on General Legal Studies and International Law. In 1982, Sisto briefly pursued coursework in International Commercial and European Union Legal Studies at the University of Exeter. Later, from 1986 to 1988, they attended the Georgetown University Law Center, earning an LLM degree in International & Comparative Law.
