Todd Hensley

Todd Hensley is a seasoned theatre consultant and lighting designer with extensive experience in the performing arts. Serving as a Partner at Schuler Shook since 1988, Todd specializes in design and planning, stage equipment specification, and construction observation for various performing arts facilities. As a freelance Stage Lighting Designer since 1982, Todd has contributed to numerous plays, musicals, and opera productions. Additionally, Todd has been an Adjunct Professor at The Theatre School at DePaul University since January 2010, teaching Stage Lighting Design courses. Todd held the role of Resident Lighting Designer at Victory Gardens Theater from 1994 to 2001, supporting new play development, and worked as an Assistant Lighting Designer at the Lyric Opera of Chicago from 1985 to 1988. Todd earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Theatrical Design from the University of Minnesota and an AB in Communications from Morehead State University.
