Saroj Thapa started their work experience as an Undergraduate Intern at Avia Club Nepal in 2010. Saroj then worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Group for Rural Infrastructure Development (GRID) Nepal for two months in 2011. From November 2011 to June 2013, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at E & T Nepal Pvt. Ltd. Subsequently, they joined the University of Alabama in August 2013 as a Research Assistant/Mechanical Engineer until December 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Research Engineer at MC3 Inc. for five months before joining Panasonic USA as a Mechanical Engineer until March 2018. From March 2018 to November 2021, they worked as a Product Development Engineer at Siemens. Saroj then worked as a Project Engineer at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. from December 2021 to April 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Sr. Mechanical Engineer at Schumacher Electric Corporation starting from April 2022.
Saroj Thapa earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nepal jobs in the years 2006 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Alabama from 2013 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Saroj obtained certifications in Project Management Foundations from LinkedIn in June 2020, and in SOLIDWORKS: Advanced Simulation from LinkedIn in May 2020.
