Carlos A. Vargas

Carlos A. Vargas has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries and roles. In 2018, they worked as the CIO at Schupan & Sons, Inc. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2018, they held multiple positions at Fanalca S.A, including Corporate Director of Digital Transformation and Corporate Director of Information Technology. In these roles, they focused on leveraging digital technologies to improve business processes, enhance customer experiences, and develop new business models. From 2010 to 2011, Carlos worked as the Director of Technology and Information at Gomez Pinzon Zuleta, a top corporate law firm, where they were responsible for IT strategy formulation and execution. Carlos A. also served as the Director and Partner of a Private Investment of an Education Technology Project from 2009 to 2010, where they played a pivotal role in structuring and launching the company. Lastly, from 2007 to 2009, Carlos worked as the Director of Technology at Facultad de Administración, Universidad de los Andes, where they were responsible for the IT strategy and ensuring service quality and SLAs delivery.

Carlos A. Vargas completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Universidad de Los Andes in 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Ingeniero de Sistemas y Computación with a specialization in Innovación from the same university, which they completed in 1998.
