Gerben Boom

Gerben Boom is a Junior Advisor in Sustainable Agriculture at Schuttelaar & Partners and serves as the International Portfolio Holder at NAJK (Nederlands Agrarisch Jongeren Kontakt) since October 2023. With extensive experience in the agricultural sector, Gerben has held various roles, including Allround Employee at Landbouwbedrijf Straver and Maatschap Boom-Schilders, where contributions included hands-on work on a dairy farm transitioning to arable farming and agricultural nature management. Previous positions include serving on the board of BAJK 'Brabant Agrarisch Jongeren Kontakt', alongside a role as a trainee at the European Parliament, where involvement included policy support and event organization. Gerben completed a Master of Science in Development and Rural Innovation from Wageningen University & Research and holds a degree from HAS Green Academy.
