Stephanie Schweitzer

Stephanie Schweitzer has been the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories since July 2020. Stephanie was previously an Associate HR Generalist at Illumina from September 2018 to July 2020, where they served as the day-to-day HR point of contact for 2 Bay Area campuses and answered employee queries in-person and through ServiceNow tickets regarding benefits, payroll, time off, HRIS, immigration, audits, and more. Stephanie investigated employee relations complaints, issued corrective actions through progressive discipline, and ensured a safe, fair, and inclusive environment for the ~900 Bay Area employees. Stephanie also partnered with managers to address performance management, and process separations, leave of absence requests and workers’ compensation claims. Stephanie created and led the Bay Area’s weekly New Employee Orientation program by collaborating with partners to provide an exceptional onboarding experience. In addition, they promoted the company culture and engagement of Bay Area employees through organizing lunch & learns, mentoring circles, community service, and events programming. Stephanie provided support to global HR programs as part of the HR Business Partner team, aligned with other Generalists for consistent employee experiences across the company, and drove corporate and regional HR initiatives in the Bay Area.
