Andrew Somers MAusIMM

Andrew Somers MAusIMM has held various roles in the mining and geology industry since 2001. Andrew began as a Contract Geologist for Rio Tinto in 2001 and then moved to JBS Technologies Pty Ltd in 2004, where they held the roles of National Sales Manager and Sales Manager: Mining & Environmental. In 2007, they joined JBS Mining as a Business Development Manager. In 2008, they became the Managing Director of Innov-X Systems Australia Pty Ltd. In 2010, they took on the role of Director of Sales: Oceania at Olympus Innov-X. Two years later, they moved to Olympus NDT as Global Business Development Manager: Mining. In 2014, they held three roles: Managing Director at SciAps Australia Pty Ltd, Global Business Director: Geochemistry at SciAps Inc., and Chairman of the Board at A & I Somers Investments.

Andrew Somers MAusIMM has a long and varied educational history. Andrew completed a Master of Environmental Management at the University of New South Wales from 2002-2004, with a field of study from UNSW. Andrew also completed a BSc in Earth Sciences from The University of Queensland from 1992-1999.
