Rob Burnett M.ed.

Rob Burnett, M.Ed. has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Rob started their career in 2006 as a Teacher at Des Moines Public Schools and worked in that role until 2011. Rob then moved on to become the Dean of Students at the same school from 2011 to 2014, followed by serving as the Principal from 2014 to 2023. In March 2023, they joined the Science Center of Iowa as the Vice President of Science Learning.

Rob Burnett, M.Ed. earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Iowa State University in the years of 2001 to 2006. Following this, they pursued a Masters degree in Special Education at Morningside University from 2007 to 2009. Eventually, they went on to attain another Masters degree in Educational Administration from Iowa State University between 2009 and 2011.
